Privacy
The information you share in counseling is personal and private, and it is treated as confidential. There are a few exceptions as to why some of what you share may need to be disclosed to a third party including:
- Harm to self or others
- Abuse of children or vulnerable adults
- Prenatal exposure to controlled substances
- Minors/guardianship
- Release of information (per client request)
